 Dog Trainers' Connection provides insightful, pertinent and meaningful workshops to anyone who works with dogs or is interested in learning about dogs. Dogs are so much a part of our lives and bring so much joy to us, be it as a family pet, a partner in sports activities such as agility and obedience, guardian, therapy dog, rescue or assistance dog. And just as we want fair and just treatment for dogs, the person at the other end of the leash, be it trainer or owner deserves the same respect. DTC will benefit the person as whole, and will continue to help long after the workshop is over.
DTC brings you cutting-edge information about dog training, behavior and the care and health of dogs. You will learn from trainers who are experienced and seasoned, some with over 30 years of experience; from trainers who while being new to the field, have unique methods of training; and from trainers who aren't on the popular circuit of speakers because their views may be too controversial for the mainstream. The only pre-requisite is that their approach be thoughtful, humane and with dogs' best interest at heart. Dog trainers, behaviorists, shelter workers, vet techs, dog walkers and sitters, groomers and interested pet owners, come to DTC workshops to learn more about the care, handling and training of dogs.
